1. Purpose of this policy
This policy explains how Endurabook manages spare parts availability for the Endurabook laptop. It supports the Endurabook 5 Year Warranty and is designed to give customers confidence that repairs will remain possible for a reasonable period.
2. Spare parts availability period
Endurabook aims to make spare parts available for at least 5 years from the date of delivery.
Where possible, Endurabook will continue to supply parts beyond this period.
This is an aim, not a guarantee, and availability depends on supplier stock and component lifecycle.
3. EOL notifications from the manufacturer
Endurabook requests End of Life notifications from its manufacturing partner for all key components.
These notifications help Endurabook plan ahead and secure parts before production ends.
However, some components may reach EOL without advance notice. This is common in the electronics supply chain and is outside Endurabook’s control.
4. Stocking approach
Endurabook will:
- forecast expected spare parts demand
- purchase and hold stock for common repairs
- maintain a buffer for warranty obligations
- prioritise essential components such as motherboards, displays and batteries
This stocking approach is based on expected failure rates and typical usage patterns.
5. Limitations on the spare parts commitment
The spare parts commitment does not apply if:
- a component goes EOL unexpectedly
- the manufacturer discontinues a part without notice
- minimum order quantities become unreasonably high
- a supplier ceases trading
- a part becomes unavailable due to global shortages
In these cases, Endurabook will make reasonable efforts to source alternatives or refurbished parts, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
6. Refurbished and equivalent parts
If a part is no longer available new, Endurabook may offer:
- refurbished parts
- equivalent specification parts
- compatible replacements approved by Endurabook
These options will always meet or exceed the functional performance of the original part.
7. How to order spare parts
Customers will be able to order spare parts directly from Endurabook through:
- the Endurabook website
- Endurabook support
Availability and pricing will be shown at the time of order.
8. Relationship with the Endurabook warranty
This policy supports the Endurabook 5 Year Warranty.
If a part required for a warranty repair is unavailable due to unexpected EOL, Endurabook will offer the remedies described in the warranty, such as a replacement unit or a refund based on age and condition.
